cassandra: Missing metadata in revision table?

Following [1], it seems metadata entries in revision table is not populated in cassandra [2] (in both environment).

It seems to be by designed [2] but the comment is quite old.

That currently is raised by the (quick'n dirty) tool we're crafting to validate the cassandra data [3]

Is it ok to adapt our check tool (to drop the metadata before comparing data) or do we need to fix the cassandra data (drop that fixer and replay revision topic on cassandra)?

AFAIK all the contents of this field should have been migrated to either the intrinsic extra_headers field or to a raw_extrinsic_metadata object.

(so, yeah, you should feel free to drop it before comparing the data)
