Zotero translator for import of citation metadata from SwH archive?

In order to make https://archive.softwareheritage.org/ more popular and useful for end users wanting to cite a software, how about contributing a web or import translator to the FLOSS reference manager Zotero? They have one for GitHub.

Would any website modifications be necessary (like exposing the metadata), or could SH's web API be used?
