[cassandra] decorate the method calls to have statsd metrics

the statsd metrics are not implemented on the cassandra storage. If the object_count table is removed, an other way to track the object creation rate is needed to estimated the performance during the benchmarks. It could also be useful to have this stats on a daily basics later.
